It has been quite hairy trying to live w/o internet service for about a week. And now retrieving all my old stuff has turned out to be very allusive! I am not computer literate!lol I can do somethings but really this is turning out to be very hard to accomplish. So to all of those that sen me e-mails from Sept.3 and onward... well I do here by apologize. But I'm afraid they will not be coming back!
On to better news, we are somewhat moved in and I say that loosely b/c are you ever really moved in ?? It seems never ending. The kids are tired ,I'm tired, my hubby is tired,and the dog is depressed. He has no clue what has happened and wants his porch and free reign of the house back! (which ain't happening). Umm, what else, well we finally did some homeschool yesterday since this whole moving business started. It was good.
i'm getting excited about Fall. I know they say we don't have seasons here in Texas but it's all in how you look at it!
I haven't scrapped and hope to real soon so be on the look out for pics. thanks

Museum day!!
Today we got an early start and headed out to our local museum. We decided we want to be volunteers this year! And so far so good. It seems like the kids are going to love it! There was a lot of older people which makes sense since they are retired;) But very nice and welcoming. I think this is going to be a very good thing for them.
On other news we well I should say my husband and brother moved some boxes over last night while the kids and I went to church and we didn't get to go unpack b/c we went to the museum. So, tomorrow will be the first real day we go to unpack and move things in. I'm excited I guess! ;o On the way home we stopped in to the linen store and bought my son the Tony Hawk skating bed set he wanted complete with valences! He's getting a new bed btw. Still a twin but maybe bunk beds I'm still deciding And while there I picked up some "fall" things for the kitchen. Since I can't decided what to decorate with I'll go with the seasons for now!
I wanted to let ya'll know that I'll be at a crop tonight! I need it for my own sanity! I've been stressing about everything and scrapping calms me. So I'll see how productive i can be with a group full of ladies all talking and having fun! Should be a blast! I'll keep you posted.

Homeschool meeting
I had a great day! Far better than I expected. I was feeling stressed b/c it was my first meeting as the "president" and I felt unsure of myself but it worked out and I'm so glad. We had 24 families and about 80 something people there! wow praise God!
I felt so inspired by all the Mom's we even had some brand new ones !! yea Im really excited about this group. I think it is going to be a great year. My kids did some studying but since we are still moving into the new house it will set us back two weeks. Anyway I'm sure we will catch up. tomorrow we are going to the Museum to a volunteer luncheon b/c both kids are going to start helping out there ! I'm so excited for them. On more homeschool news one of my kids has been playing ALOT lately on the keyboard! I think he wants me to see how serious he is about the drum set he wants for christmas. And did I mention my daughter has been trying to learn a new song on the guitar. I've got a regular band here. Well, this life in our world. If your musically inclined you shall play to your hearts content ;) I need to rest up so I'll end here. I'll you know how the volunteering goes.

I'm moving in! ;)
So moving day is finally here for us! We started the new home game in April, and from there it has been a long wait, but we are now there! yea thank You God! We are so blessed! I won't bore you with the details but it's big and roomy and I'm going to enjoy making it a home for me and my family. I am kind of bummed because I will now leave my home of 16 years and it's paid for! But on to bigger and better things ... right. Well this is it for now I will try and catch up later...send some good vibes my way.

To Each Other

I've been thinking lately how much we as a society tend to be so harsh. Is it that we don't care? Have we become so complacent,that we are callous to a fault? I think we have become a nation of judgemental hypocrites . I say this because there are time when I can judge someone for their actions and then turn around and commit the same fault. ;0 I try and instill tolerance in my children and my-self. I am not perfect but we all need to strive to get along and most of all be tolerant of each other. Least we forget our time here is limited. We are all only passing through this earthly place we call home. I hope not to bore you with my ramblings, but I feel compelled to say my peace. If even one person out there agrees with me well then I guess my point is valid. I hope to share more of my insight with you and hopefully you'll return to read it. Leave me a comment and tell me what you think.
